THE AGE OF REASON
Jack Ohman created a political cartoon called “ Cartoon: Political Football”. Health Care is used as the football in this picture. Obama is the quarterback being in charge, and the Congress not knowing what he is going to do and him making his own plays. Also Obama showing he wants to do his own play all over again. The theme of this cartoon is to show that congress is trying to help with the healthcare system that is being runned by Obama, but fail. Obama is running his own plays and the rest of the offense (congress) is confused. They are helpless because he is trying to overpower them. The cartoon is meant to show a cure that congress is trying their hardest to help with the health care.

Satire on teen Idolizing
Our theme is that the Law still applies to people no matter if they are famous or not. Crime is not tolerated even if you’re a 19 year old world superstar. Our tone would be sarcastic.Sarcasm furthers the advancement of our theme as a common means of ridiculing an existing product idea. For example Justin Bieber, with all the fame that he has, he thinks he can do anything he wants by street racing with drugs in his system. We’re going to exaggerate on how he comes out of the car looking really fancy and smoke and drugs coming out of the car when he is being pulled over ,throwing money at the cops(while his own song is playing in the background). Justin Bieber (Richmon) acts as if he doesn’t know what he is doing wrong and pretends the police are taking advantage of him because he is famous. The smoke, pill bottles, and old beer cans in the passenger seat. He says “what the F**** did i do?!” Being dramatic as if nothing was wrong. We the audience, clearly see he is intoxicated. We are trying to stop DWI and state that the law still applies even if you’re a worldwide superstar. You should be careful with the things you do and not take advantage of your fame. |
